You probably do not think of Seattle and snow. So far January has proved otherwise as the most recent winter storm hit the area. Is 2020 proving to be the year of the Snowpocalypse? Is the CoronaVirus in Seattle?

Three UW students being screened for suspected novel coronavirus tested negative for the virus. The three individuals who recently returned from Wuhan, China were suspected to have contracted the virus while they were there. All three students have now been cleared and are virus free. The incident involved one off campus student and two on campus living students. Test results have now shown all three students to be clear of the novel coronavirus.  So at this time, there are no active acses at the University. However,  University officials have asked the public to be patient as they deal with the situation. [...]

Bellevue Square and Santa sure made a grand entrance to get the Bellevue Snowflake Lane premier started with his fun-filled parade. Kids of all ages were overjoyed with amazement as Santa and his sleigh come through Bellevue Square to kick off the holidays. Following Santa’s arrival parade, everyone joined Santa and all of the Snowflake Lane Characters and cast for a meet and greet at the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Bellevue Place Wintergarden. Seattle Sells $138 Million Property to Private Developers

Development Will Include 175 Affordable Housing Units On August 7, Seattle mayor Jenny Durkan announced that the city, in its largest real estate transaction in history, was selling a nearly 3-acre parcel of land on Mercer Street known as the Mercer Mega Block. It is selling it to a private real estate developer called Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. for more than $138 million. Amazon opened a new retail store in Seattle that carries only "4-Star" rated and above products. The store does not take cash, so customers will have to use Amazon's Go's cashier-less setup to purchases Amazons most highly rated products.
